Golf Ranch App — Privacy Policy

Golf Ranch App — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who We Are

This app ("Golf Ranch App") is published by Blue Jeans Golf LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("BJG", "we", "us"), located at 633 W Davis St, Dallas, TX 75208. BJG operates the "Golf Ranch" brand of driving ranges and is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

If you have questions, requests, or complaints about your data, please contact us:

2. What This Policy Covers

This policy describes the personal information BJG collects through the Golf Ranch App (iOS and Android), www.golfranch.com, and offline at Golf Ranch locations through point-of-sale transactions, event bookings, and related customer interactions. Together, we refer to these as the "Services." It does not cover third-party services we link to from our Services — those have their own privacy policies, as described in Section 6 below.

The Golf Ranch App is available to users who have a paid Ranch Pass membership.

3. Information We Collect

"Personal information" is information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, you as an individual, such as your name, email address, telephone number, home address, or payment information.

3a. Information You Give Us Directly

  • Email address. Used to create your account and authenticate you.
  • Account and profile information, such as your real name, username or alias, email address, phone number, date of birth, home address, billing address, home Golf Ranch location, Ranch Pass membership information, and information about your golf activity.
  • Demographic or profile information, such as age and sex or gender information.
  • User-generated content or contributions.

3b. Information We Receive from BJG's Existing Membership System

When you sign in, the app verifies that you are a current Ranch Pass member. To do this, we look up your email in BJG's existing membership system or data warehouse and may receive or confirm:

  • Your first and last name (as on your Ranch Pass membership)
  • Your membership status (active, lapsed)
  • Your member-since date

Some of this information may already exist in BJG's systems, and some may be collected directly from you through the app, website, point-of-sale, event booking, or other Services.

3c. Information Generated by Your Use of the App

  • Purchase history. When you buy products or services through the app or other Services, we record the date, time, site, item or service purchased, ball count where applicable, price paid, and a transaction identifier. This drives your loyalty stats, visit history, and tier progression. BJG's online offerings may include pin codes that provide access to range balls, instruction access, event access, and light retail purchases.
  • PIN issuance and redemption. When you purchase a bucket or other range-ball access product, the app obtains a one-time PIN code from SelectPi so you can dispense balls. We record the PIN's issuance time, expiration, and whether it was redeemed at the kiosk.
  • Loyalty stats. Aggregated counts derived from your purchases — total balls hit, savings versus walk-in pricing, weekly streak, and tier progress — are calculated server-side and surfaced in the app's Stats tab.

3d. Information Collected Automatically

  • Crash and error reports. If the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, we collect a stack trace and high-level device information (device model, OS version, app version) to diagnose the issue. We do not collect screenshots, keystrokes, or the contents of your data.
  • Authentication events. Sign-in attempts, sign-outs, and password resets are logged for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
  • Product analytics and interaction information. We record events describing how users move through the app or Services, such as signup flow steps, whether a purchase completed, whether a kiosk PIN was redeemed, high-level device information (platform, app version), and a randomly-generated anonymous session identifier stored on your device. This helps us identify where users get stuck, diagnose flow-level bugs, and prioritize improvements. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs; events are sent only to our own servers.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies. As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect information about your interactions, traffic data, logs, and which resources and features you access. We may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party sites or other online services.

3e. What We Do NOT Collect

The Golf Ranch App does not collect:

  • Payment-card information directly. Card details are collected and processed by BJG's third-party payment processor; BJG receives only transaction identifiers and payment confirmations.
  • Your location. The app does not request location permissions (GPS, Wi-Fi, or otherwise).
  • Contact-list, photo-library, microphone, or camera data. The app does not request access to any of these.
  • Behavioral / advertising trackers. The app contains no third-party analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.
  • Biometric identifiers or templates. If you use Touch ID, Face ID, or similar biometric login, that feature is managed by Apple, Google, or your device OS — BJG does not receive or store your biometric data.
  • Children's information. The app is intended for adult Ranch Pass members; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the service — authenticate you, verify your Ranch Pass membership, present member-priced purchases, generate kiosk PINs, maintain loyalty stats, and provide app or website features.
  • Process payments, purchases, transactions, refunds, and related requests, including through third-party payment processors.
  • Maintain, customize, and secure your account, including account notices, membership status, and service-related communications.
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries, including investigating concerns and improving responses.
  • Allow users to participate in interactive features of the Services, including user contributions where available.
  • Administer surveys, sweepstakes, promotions, and contests.
  • Send newsletters, service messages, SMS text messages, marketing messages, and other communications about BJG's products and services, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
  • Conduct interest-based, behavioral, targeted, or retargeted advertising for BJG's own products and services.
  • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized use, and security incidents.
  • Perform internal testing, research, analysis, product development, and service improvement.
  • Respond to law enforcement requests, enforce terms, defend claims, protect rights and property, and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose your information to third parties to market their own products and services.

Marketing and SMS Choices

You may opt in to or opt out of BJG marketing communications where those choices are made available. With your prior express consent, we may send you marketing text messages. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting BJG at the contact information below. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

8. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

If you request deletion or delete your account, BJG will delete, deidentify, or anonymize personal information as required by applicable law, subject to exceptions for transaction records, membership records, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, and other lawful retention purposes.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, secure token storage, password hashing through our identity provider, access controls, and audit logging. If you use Touch ID, Face ID, or similar device-based biometric login, biometric authentication is handled by your device operating system or platform provider, and BJG does not receive or store your biometric identifiers or biometric templates.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and BJG cannot guarantee absolute security. If BJG determines that a data breach affecting your personal information has occurred, BJG will provide notice as required by applicable law.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residency, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access and Data Portability You may confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of it. To the extent feasible, data will be provided in a portable format. Depending on your state, you may have the right to receive additional information, which will be included in the response to your request.
  • Correction You may request that we correct inaccuracies in your personal data. Most fields can be corrected through the app's Profile tab; for membership-system fields, contact BJG directly.
  • Deletion You may request that we delete personal data about you that we maintain, subject to certain exceptions under applicable law.
  • Objection / Restriction You may object to certain processing or ask us to limit it.
  • Withdraw Consent Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time through the applicable opt-out mechanism or by contacting BJG.
The exact scope of these rights varies by state, and there are exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at accounts@golfranchusa.com. We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. To appeal a decision, email us at accounts@golfranchusa.com.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under applicable privacy law.

Some browsers and browser extensions support the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") that can send a signal to process your request to opt out from certain types of data processing. When we detect such a signal, we will make reasonable efforts to respect your choices as required by applicable law.

11. Children

The Services are intended for adult Ranch Pass members. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes that expand our collection, use, or disclosure of personal information, we will provide you with prominent notice (such as an in-app notification or email) and, where required by applicable law, obtain your affirmative consent before the changes take effect. We will notify you of changes through the app, website, email, or other legally appropriate method, and by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. The previous version of this policy is available on request.
