Ken has studied and played golf around the world for over 25 years. After retiring from the military, he followed his passion for the game and graduated Valedictorian from the “Golf Academy of America” with a degree in Golf Complex Operations and Golf Management.

Ken is known for his friendly demeanor, patience and understanding. Over the last four years he has given over a thousand lessons to beginners, weekend warriors, and professional golfers.

His philosophy is to create a fun teaching environment, by keeping instruction simple and easy to understand, while emphasizing the mental game. He doesn’t teach one method but incorporates fundamentals based on the unique body type and abilities of the individual.

Ken is a certified Teaching Professional, Club Fitter, and Club Builder.

I started in the GOLF business in 1996 in Orlando, FL.  Four years later, living in Omaha, NE, and working towards PGA Certification in the Nebraska Section, I started teaching lessons after passing the PAT, as I continued to work as an Assistant Professional.

An excellent opportunity came along which would allow me to work in the GOLF business year round, and the relocation to Arizona soon followed.

After three years working in the Pro Shop, managing inside and outside staff, supervising member and resident leagues, conducting clinics and teaching lessons, I became certified as a Professional GOLF Instructor.

Thirteen years and several courses later, I became the Arizona Tournament Director, conducting Professional Mini-Tour events in AZ, as well as CA and NV.  After more than four years of witnessing some players who will be the next wave of Professional Tour players, I decided to concentrate more on teaching and created MrPeabodyGOLF.

I am currently the Director of Instruction with MrPeabodyGOLF, located for the last four years at Desert Mirage Golf & Practice Center in Glendale, AZ. My promise will be to promote a better understanding of the game, but more importantly, help people have more fun and enjoy playing the game of GOLF.

I am originally from Massachusetts, played Basketball and Baseball in college, and got into the GOLF business after being a Bar and Restaurant Manager for eight years.  I am currently living in Glendale, AZ, have been married for 18 years and have twins, a Son and a Daughter, who are both Seniors and Student/Athletes in High School. (Go Cobras!)

Having been introduced to golf at a very young age, Logan has grown up in the sport. After playing in high school, he attended Sam Houston State, majoring in Professional Golf Management. Logan is currently an Assistant Golf Professional at Dallas National Golf Club, working with multiple students of all skill levels. In addition to private instruction, he has also been a coach in the PGA junior leagues.

Alexia grew up playing junior golf in Phoenix, Arizona and then went on to play 4 years of Collegiate Golf at Portland State University. She has been an Instructor for 9 years and is a Member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals. Alexia began her career at The First Tee of Phoenix and made her way to Texas from Monterey Peninsula Country Club. Her teaching philosophy is centered around each students’ unique abilities. She believes every lesson should be fun, educational and process oriented. Alexia is excited to continue her teaching career at The Golf Ranch. She has created a Women’s Weekend Clinic series that has empowered Women off all ages to feel comfortable around the game of golf. Her extensive background makes for a great lesson experience for all skill levels.

Keith is an Assistant Golf Professional at Dallas National Golf Club and a teaching professional at the Golf Ranch in Richardson. As a PGA Certified teacher that has been involved in golf instruction for a year and a half, Keith has worked junior programs, camps as well as giving individual lessons. While teaching all aspects of the game, Keith specializes in irons and short game. Coach Keith's rate is $75.

Makalia has been teaching in the DFW area for 5 years, bringing over 15 years of playing experience, including competing as a Division I collegiate golfer. She is passionate about developing junior golfers for high school and collegiate competition, while also helping adults build confidence and consistency in their game. Makalia is currently a candidate for LPGA Teaching Professional certification.

Jim Talbot is an award winning PGA Life Member with over 45 years of teaching experience. Coach Jim has developed hundreds of players at all skill levels on swing technique, course strategy and mental preparation for competition. Jim has coached three High School State Champions, numerous Amateur, Mid Amateur and Senior Amateur Champions and Collegiate Scholarship players in all divisions. Jim has authored many articles on golf and has been a guest speaker on television and radio. He was a guest instructor for the Professional Golf Management program at the University of Colorado. Rate $125hr.

With over 30 years teaching experience, Daniel continued in the family business, learning how to teach golf from his father, also a golf instructor. After playing college golf at Lamar University he continued playing professional golf on several mini tours including the Ben Hogan Tour and Nike Tour, now called the Korn Ferry Tour. With just a few lessons, Daniel is able to teach beginner students a basic swing, or help those that have lost their swing, recover it. Your initial lesson with Daniel will include putting, chipping, and full swing analysis. Daniel is as passionate about teaching the fundamentals to beginners as he is about teaching advanced players course management. Currently he is instructing some of the top Junior Players in the state, who have had dominating performances on the NTPGA Junior Tour.

Spanning 40 years, Joel has taught in Arizona and Texas, as well as Germany where he is a member of PGA of Germany. Through his player development, Joel has had over 40 players receive scholarships, and 23 players play professionally. Joel has a passion for teaching all aspects of the game to all ages, from beginner to advanced, with a focus on correct structure. As a player Joel holds a course record of 62, with his own training coming from 8 of the Top Instructors. Coach Joel's rate is $130/hr for adults and $110/hr for juniors.

Dave has been a Master Instructor at the Golf Ranch in Richardson, TX since 2021. Dave is a patient, encouraging and knowledgeable Golf Coach who enjoys teaching people of all abilities! Prior to joining the Instructional Staff at The Golf Ranch, he was the Director of Junior Golf at Gleneagles Country Club in Plano, TX from 2007-2021. Dave started his coaching career in 2004 and spent his first three years teaching for Hank Haney Golf with some of the most renowned instructors in D/FW. Coach Dave's rate is $135.

Coach Kobe is a 21-year-old Certified Golf Professional with the United States Golf Teachers Federation, working towards his PGA Certification. A Kansas City Native, Coach Kobe was brought up through the First Tee of Greater Kansas City and has played with a love and passion for golf since his early childhood. Through the Nine Core Values and life lessons from The First Tee program, he has developed life skills to be successful both on and off the course. After an abrupt end to his high school career due to Covid, he was determined to give back to the sport he’s most passionate by providing a positive impact to the youth of Kansas City and its surrounding communities. Coach Kobe is very passionate about spreading the game he loves to golfers of all ages and skill levels. He helps his students learn about the life skills golf teaches us, so that we can not only get better at the game but overcome any other obstacle life may through your way.

Coach Tim is a highly accomplished, Certified PGA Golf Professional with decades of teaching experience and a passion for helping golfers of all levels improve their game. Over the course of his career, Tim has taught at prestigious facilities including Staley Farms Country Club, Hallbrook Country Club, Milburn Country Club, Ben Sutton Golf School in Florida, Deer Trace, and Hodge Park Golf Course.

Many of Tim’s students have gone on to play collegiate golf, and one of his current students is the reigning USCAA Men’s Golf National Champion.

I have 10+ years teaching and recently taught Juniors ages 6-16 at the Bruce Sims Golf School in Allen, Texas. I coach to help you understand the dynamics of the game, your swing tendencies, and to understand how the ball flight provides the keys to making successful changes. Everyone is uniquely gifted to learn golf. I help you define your goals and establish a plan. David S. Hollar is a seasoned golf professional with over 20 years of experience teaching golfers. His journey in the sport began at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he not only learned his skills but also represented the school as a dedicated member of the golf team. After demonstrating his commitment to the game, David transferred to Fairfield University, where he embraced the challenge of playing as a walk-on athlete. His passion for golf and competitive spirit propelled him through college, laying the groundwork for a lifelong connection to the sport. Following his collegiate career, David participated in numerous amateur tournaments, further refining his skills and developing a keen understanding of the game. It was during this time that he discovered his innate talent for teaching and sharing his love for golf with others.
